Led by Kashi, Teacher in Residence
The United States is, according to the World Health Organization, an incredibly anxious nation. What’s more, nearly a third of Americans suffer from anxiety at some point and one in nineteen people receive a prescription for medication that can cause many unwelcome side effects.
More and more people are becoming interested in non-drug alternatives to treat anxiety, stress and PTSD and there is evidence to show that yoga can work. Instead of just treating the symptoms like medications do, it actually helps you learn to cope with your worries.
This workshop will offer the TriYoga practices of posture, breathing, inner focus, mantra and meditation. Kashi will also share additional tools, such as EFT, journaling, affirmation and self-acceptance that she uses in easing her own anxiety and PTSD.
You will leave this workshop with a simple daily practice as well as lots of support, encouragement and inspiration to begin a yoga practice.
Side Note: Kashi is not qualified to give medical recommendations or treatment. Please consult with your doctor if you have any concerns about participating in this program. You can also speak to Kashi by phone, video or email for more information about this workshop.
