Fall Retreat in Pictures & Words

By Theresa Shay

Eighteen Flow-ers gathered at the front door of the Himalayan Institute last Friday night to meet and begin our retreat on the full moon weekend. Some had never been on a yoga retreat before. Some had never done TriYoga before. Some had brought a friend or a family member. Some had brought their newfound life being single. Some had come on the eve of a milestone birthday. All had come to be and breathe, relax and expand.

Over the three days, we enjoyed flowing, breathing, meditating, chanting, eating, resting, discussing, sharing, laughing, crying (the best kind of tears), walking in nature, touring the world’s best chocolate factory on site and giving real hugs. Slip inside the experience with these pictures and words from our experience.

“I awaken with mantra singing in my mind. I realize Yoga is back in my body. Going deep, I reconnected with the Love and Bliss of TriYoga. I knew it was in there, but I hadn’t been able to access it. The breath. The community. The joy in everyone’s eyes. It was missing. That is why we retreat. TriYoga is not a solitary practice. It thrives on community. Our deep roots that connect us have an opportunity to blossom and spread when we are together. I realized thank you for the retreat was not enough. JAI.”
