Scoliosis is not a condition we would choose for ourselves or our child. Yet here it is, ours to navigate.

Your diagnosis may be the first time you’ve given thought to scoliosis. You might understand your spine has curved off to the side, but not know what to do about it. You may feel helpless, alone, and isolated. You might be concerned - even afraid - of what this will mean for you or your child.

Despite what some advertisers claim, you cannot “fix” structural scoliosis. You can, however, choose to step toward scoliosis in ways that will help you thrive physically and mentally. You can learn to move, breathe, and attend to your wellbeing to support your curve, no matter your stage or age.

If we haven’t met before, greetings. My name is Theresa Shay. As a TriYoga teacher for 30+ years, a Certified Yoga for Scoliosis Trainer, and someone with scoliosis since age 10, I am passionate about sharing yoga that is appropriate for your curve.
