Step toward your scoliosis with more support than you’ve ever had, and let the transformation begin.
Scoliosis Mentoring
An individualized, focused, and flexible program built around your unique body, experience, needs, and timeline.
People diagnosed with scoliosis rarely receive the support they need to thrive.
The “watch and wait” approach leaves the newly diagnosed individual (and/or their family) disempowered.
Lack of education around Idiopathic Scoliosis means young people grow into adults and disregard their diagnosis for years.
For those diagnosed later in life, pain management - perhaps fusion surgery down the road- is the default option after general physical therapy doesn’t help.
These approaches for dealing with scoliosis are common, but far too limiting for someone with your spine.
With support and solid information, you can become the expert you’ve been seeking, empowered with the knowledge you need to live a full life with scoliosis.
I’m ready to show you the way forward.
I’ve been blessed on my scoliosis journey. Diagnosed at age 10 and treated until I was 17, I discovered TriYoga® just a few years after being freed from the Boston brace I wore 23 hours a day through high school.
I didn’t realize I’d disconnected from my physical body until I found yoga. TriYoga’s focus on breath and relaxation taught me to listen to my body and trust it. The quiet and calm of the practice taught me to settle my mind. My joy unfolded naturally.
When I stumbled upon a Yoga for Scoliosis class after 20 years as a full time TriYoga teacher, I recognized the wisdom of the approach. I walked out that class committed to refining my yoga practice to serve my body’s curving, twisting spine.
This is the spine I have for life, and life is what I wanted to give it.
I never planned to teach others about using yoga to help their scoliosis. I thought my scoliosis journey was a private, personal path to walk.
As I moved further into the world of scoliosis, I realized that across the board, adults with scoliosis do not have the support and knowledge they need to thrive. What began as a personal journey has become my professional commitment to serving the scoliosis community. As a Certified Yoga for Scoliosis Trainer, a Senior TriYoga Teacher, and a lifelong learner, I share what has helped me live well with scoliosis for decades.
Your spine deserves the best life possible, and I would be honored to lead you into that life.
I so appreciate the care and skill that (you) put into creating programs. You are a great example and inspiration of aligning life to the wisdom of yoga, discovering one’s dharma, and living it.
